Going
Crazy Wheeling!
Story
and photos by RC4WD
Los
Gatos Creek is one the most scenic and most difficult trails
in the North Califronia for RC 4 wheeling, which begins
at Lexington Reservoir and follows the Los Gatos Creek for
nearly 14 miles through the Town of Los Gatos, Vasona Lake
County Park, Los Gatos Creek County Park, and the cities
of Campbell and San Jose. The daily parking rate is $4,
after paying the fee, the fun begin.
Who
said this can't be done, but the Tamiya Bruiser nearly flip over
on this obstacle.

The
easiest way to go through this path was going around those
big rocks.

The
stock Tamiya Bruiser was ready to attack any kind of obstacles.
With focus, I took the proper path and easily negotiating
this difficult rocky section.

Going
Wheeling in Los Gatos Trail can also have some serious consequences,
my truck roll over at least twice, causing the right front
shocks to fall off.

There
is no argument that the stock Tamiya Bruiser could use more articulation,
but it still made it coming down the hill.

Going
down was already difficult, now it's times to get back up.

Almost
made it... Locked rear diffential ready help in situation
like this.

The
scenery is just simply amazing!
