Rock
Crawling Tamiya Bruiser
Story
and photos by RC4WD
Tamiya Bruiser
is one of the most realistic truck ever made by Tamiya.
This truck you see below took me almost 2 years to put together.
Some parts are from trade, some bought off ebay. Beside
the body everything are build base on brand new parts.
This
truck is 100% stock, it even still use the big old 4000Mha
battery. Now many of you might wonder how is Tamiya Bruiser's rock-crawling
capabilities. Suspension travel is not nearly as crazy as
some of those modifed clod, but it drive just like a real
truck. As long as you take on scale size rocks, this truck
can handle it with ease. No problemo!
This
hill is at least 45% steep, with slow 4WD engaged, this
truck has no problem going down hill.

This
truck has a 3 speed transmission, allows you to switch between
fast 2WD and slow 4WD. It's so fast, it would flip over
on a fast turn on pavement. Once it's on 4WD, it has plenty
of torque, in the picture below, it almost lift the front
wheel 2 inch high in the air.

For
realisim, this is the rock crawling King. Period!
